NSFW. Kind of. She has clothes on but if you are caught looking at pretty ladies at work, well people aren't gonna think you are up to any good. Just saying.

Well I'd much rather have the ladies than the VW.

That is the same person! I mean if you want to choose her over a 935, it is your loss.

Whoa! Sometimes it's hard to tell when one doesn't follow Korean models/celebrities. Such different poses, in different outfits, and I most certainly rather have Lady in dress #2 than in dress???/outfit #1.

Saw flames. Saw legs. Maintain my decision.

I thought she looked better in the first picture. I must be in the minority, cause everyone else(Duke) likes her in the second.

OBSCURE VEHICLE DYNAMICS SEMINAR!!!!!

Here's whats up here. Have you ever heard of the term "snap oversteer"? Well it is most prominent in classic Porsches due to the incredibly rear-bias weight distribution. What happens is, you let off while in the middle of the corner, and your front end loads up and suddenly snaps into oversteer, backing your way into a wall (not exactly good when your engine (or in this case turbos) will be entering the wall first).

From the picture you posted you can see how Porsche fixed this: Add INSANELY large rear tires, biasing your grip rearwards, and therefore increasing the understeer coefficient (ergo, less oversteer).

Now how does the Deltawing fit here?

Remember the keys of the Deltawing as explained by Ben Bowlby: Balance. The vehicle has 70% rear weight bias. Suddenly, you have the handling characteristics of an old Porsche. Of course, to take it to the next level, Bowlby also novelly increased the rear roll stiffness with a virtually rigid rear T-bar setup (shown in the video above). Higher rear roll stiffness, as anyone with a FWD car will tell you, will create oversteer.

So he suddenly took a racecar, and threw all of the tricks in the book to make it oversteer.

Now, how do you balance out oversteer? Increase rear grip. Of course, you could also simply DECREASE FRONT GRIP. Hence, why the 4" wide front tires on the Deltawing can allow it to run at P2 speeds. Of course, there are better ways to do this, but his idea was that you could create a more aerodynamic shape this way, leaving us with the Deltawing everyone loves to hate.

And that is why an 80s Porsche is the same as a Deltawing.
